Daily Success: December 25 – Merry Christmas, everyone!

Exercise yesterday was “zero,” but that was fine because the day included a most excellent Christmas party with the Tabor side of our extended family. Nothing can improve on a Christmas that includes two little ones that are overstimulated by the excitement of the holiday. Well, nothing, that is, unless one gets to watch Uncle Pres assemble the drum set that is a Christmas gift for a six-year-old aspiring drummer! She’s already had some lessons – who knew? – and attacked the impressive setup with real skill.

This morning’s weight looks, at first glance, like a disaster as well. But one must consider the vast salt content that the Bloody Mary mix must have included, combine that with the salt in the chicken soup on the 23rd, and realize that approximately one kilogram of that is nothing more than water that will, hopefully, find its way home over the next day or so.

I’ve already opened my ndnation Christmas stocking and made my first post in exactly seven weeks! It has been a long demonstration of personal discipline, but a successful one as proven by the progress on the Camino website and real output on the customer’s work. Continued posting will have to show the ability to combine that real pleasure with keeping my eye on the more important balls of the Camino website, the customer, and Fingy as of January 4th when the last of our wonderful holiday social activities comes to an end.
