Daily Success April 29 scored Very Good. It could have been significantly better, but a lot of time went into things that have been put off too long, including a lot of financial data gathering and entry. That, sadly, will continue through the weekend as my record keeping has been poor for quite some time.
Another factor in not managing an Outstanding was being pretty rigorous on my scoring for relevant, but not “done,” stuff. That included starting to research notes and such for my August 4, 2021 My Camino Day and getting my head around all the events that led up to setting off from Zumaia later than planned and walking uphill in the rain.
A factor that did not get the extra credit it might have been due was combining the backpack and the 6% grade on the treadmill. Yes, it’s only 5.6 km, but that translates to a climb of over 300 meters (1,000 feet).
There are a lot of things to do today, including some serious walking. The rain is supposed to stay away during the day, so an outdoor hike may be in the offing. Things are still very wet from yesterday’s steady rain, however, so the treadmill may be the answer. Or both.
But now it’s time to get serious about the day ahead. My stretches, my upper body and core strength exercises, and breakfast are complete. It’s time to get to work making my future ever closer to my goals.
