Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success December 10 is “Failed.” Proof in the pudding is my weight at 166.6 this morning. That is up. And it follows “up.” Which follows “up.”
“Failed” is in danger of becoming a way of life.

Yesterday

Jennifer and two of the kids in town plus a holiday party for a bunch of folks equaled never having a chance for a better score. The truth is that I didn’t even try. ”Failed” may be too generous a score.

Today

Jennifer &co. left early. Jan is focused on getting ready for her class. Neither of us appears in the mood for pancakes and bacon. Just as well.

There is football I don’t care about all afternoon. Good for getting on the bike. My left knee is very bad this morning and my back is not much better. Bad for getting on the bike. Plus, I’m seriously out of sorts. Bad for taking care of myself; bad for keeping my promises to myself.

This is up to me. “Do. Or not do. There is no try.”

The Future

Who knows? Monika tomorrow, but with the reality that my back is angry from being on my feet all day yesterday. The only thing certain in my life at this point is that the sun will rise in the east tomorrow.
