Daily Success June 7 – Very Good. Almost Outstanding, but it was a long day and the temptation to do “just a little more” was not strong enough to overcome fatigue and pain.
Yesterday
Yesterday was a good day. No nap was required, which freed up important time. My dental appointment was efficient as well, so plenty of time was available for the stuff I actually want to do.
A lot of yesterday’s success tied to walking. I walked to Dr. Syed, Nabila, and Giant, a total of almost 4.4 miles and the most I’ve walked in a day in a long time. My back / leg pain was getting pretty bad by the end of it, however, so overoptimism is not to be entertained as yet.
Poli-Sci got a featured spot. I made good progress on my mid-term essay, which was an unexpectedly challenging assignment.
Some activity on the Sam front as well, unexpected, too. I sent a “good on yuh” email to Mark because ResearchGate notified me that he is an author on a paper. He responded and included a comment about my sudden disappearance from SurveyorBot. I’ve reached out to Tim to make sure I don’t answer with anything inappropriate.
Today
Today is Cliff’s thing, which I will miss. Too much to do before Monika at 2 PM. Other than that, exercise, physical therapy, and Poli-Sci. Plus there should be progress on at least one more major Camino post. Or more on YouTube.
The Future
The future still looks bright with opportunities for fun or business success looking promising. My piriformis syndrome, however, is the gray cloud over everything.
