Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success September 19 – Failed.

Daily Success Yesterday

Daily success yesterday was a complete miss as far as Camino “stuff” was concerned. This is not to say that nothing was done as there were two appointments that used an hour each (Elaina for a knee injection at Dr. Higgins’ office and Larry for a virtual appointment) and a minor and semi-Camino chore of going to the grocery store. But there was also a lengthy afternoon nap and a bit too much fiddling around.

A lack of focus.

Quite a bit did get done, however, on Project Pinecone. For that I am very happy.

Today

Success today should be somewhat more straightforward as there is football tonight for me to use as compensation for being in the gym.

Importantly, my strategic thinking about Project Pinecone is bearing fruit and should result in real progress there fairly quickly. That, in turn, will free up more time for Camino work such as my YouTube channel and “My Camino Day” posts.

The Future

Success in the future looks promising if challenging as well.

My back problems seem to finally have an accurate diagnosis that will, I think, lead to minor surgery to stabilize the “SI Joint” on my left side. My guess, emphasis “guess,” is that the SI Joint problem of 2024 is a direct descendent of being slammed into the ground with my butt taking the impact while testing the Parafoil back in 1967 as a grad student at Notre Dame. Evidence? Zip. A significant part of that lack of evidence is that Nicolaides took all the Parafoil records and pictures with him when he left ND and, so far as I know, they are forever lost.

Similarly, Project Pinecone now has a clear path forward for the next month or so. It’s a lot easier for me to produce something if what is to be produced is clear in my mind.
