Napolean once said something to the effect that it is “amazing what a man will do for a bit of ribbon.” I am taking an unrealistic amount of pleasure in the fact that my Internet time-suck notepad now has four, FOUR, zeros for the times clicked on the sites I love but know are a waste of time. FOUR!

That is success on one of my Camino 2023 tasks.

Other tasks are also going well. Yesterday included the full list of exercises, upper body and sufficient walking. The trekking poles post is “in process” as well as a wide variety of other things that I’ve promised myself would be done. We have a Zoom set up for 3 this afternoon to kick off the upgrade to the aseptuagenarianscaminodesantiago.com website so that all the “stuff” I plan to share can start getting uploaded. That plan is to post 100 to 200 words daily to update my progress and one or two videos (especially videos from my 2021 and 2022 adventures) or major posts, such as the trekking pole post, weekly.

Stay tuned!
