statue of a perigrinoDaily Success February 27 had some definite positives as I did get my upper body strength exercises done and some, albeit not enough by any stretch, walking done.

All this is very hard right now due to being pulled in many directions simultaneously, but that’s true for most folks. If this was easy, everyone would do it. Importantly, I’m being very candid about my struggles in these daily success posts to show folks who want to become pilgrims that my struggles are the same as theirs and that if I can do it, THEY CAN DO IT.

And I WILL do it, I WILL succeed, even though it’s hard. I will succeed to show others that they can succeed. I will succeed for myself, because I KNOW that the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical rewards make hiking The Way worthwhile.

That success requires getting my food intake down and exercise up because my weight is up about two kilograms (four and a half pounds) from what it was last September, when I got home from my month in Spain and hiking 275 kilometers (170 miles) on el Camino de Santiago del Norte during the month of August.

On the website side of things, I made real progress yesterday with getting my photos selected and touched up for my August 11th, 2018 “My Camino Day” post. Progress was very good, despite lingering far too long over far too many photos, until the customer told me that the first draft I shipped on Saturday was far short of his desires and that there is much more to do.
