statue of a perigrinoDaily Success March 11 is my attempt to document recovery from failure. The last 10 days have been a series of setbacks combined with simply giving up in the face of difficulty on my part. The evidence is clear. Ten days of substandard walking distances and little strength exercise. Four days without a Daily Success post. My August 11, 2018 My Camino Day post sits untouched for the last week or more.

Only on Thursday did things start to improve.

There are a lot of contributing factors. The largest of these has been the worst cold that I can ever remember having. The coughing today is somewhat less, enough less that my plans include an attempt to narrate the photo deck that is to be the middle of the description of August 11th. It has not even been worth an attempt for the last week and change as every one of the earlier recordings is so racked with coughing that it can’t be listened to.

There are also enablers for getting on with the important things in my life. A very important one is that customer requirements are coming under control as two deadlines have been met and the next ones are (kinda) far away.

For today: some strength exercise, enough walking to be creditable, and finish the August 11th My Camino Day.
