Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statueDaily Success May 3 graded as Very Good. More than enough effort went in the right directions, but output kept the score below the Outstanding range. I think I’ve got a good and, now, quantified scoring system that offers a solid combination of achievability and difficulty.

The day today will be a bit tricky as I’ve got to get a haircut and make the long-delayed trip to COSTCO. That will burn more hours than desired, but one must pay the piper sooner or later.

The Ruminations on Exercise section is becoming ever more important in my thinking, so much so that I’ve added to it while writing this Daily Success post. It is going to be especially useful because I’m going to have a significant “planning your exercise program” section to address the fact that the Camino is a lot different with a tour group that has planned and reserved hotels at conservative intervals along a relatively easy part of The Way than it is with a solo effort in challenging locations.

I’m conflicted on including links to tour organizers for a variety of reasons. The biggest among those reasons is that I don’t want to appear to recommend an organization I’m not truly familiar with for such an important role in another pilgrim’s Camino Journey.
