Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statueDaily Success May 4 managed an “Okay” score; it could have been Very Good with generous scoring, but Okay is what I earned.

The Okay also reflects a lot of impact from the distractions of life. The COSTCO trip took longer than planned AND accomplished little. Now I have to visit the ENT to get wax removed from my ears, primarily the right one. It seems like I just did this not too long ago. The haircut also managed to move from “planned” to “done” with the result that I don’t recognize the guy in the mirror.

I did work on the website. That included some good stuff on my Ruminations on Exercise (published, but much in progress) and on My Camino Day August 4, 2021 (still hidden as a “too early” draft) posts. But doing some good stuff is not the same as real progress and zip got posted beyond Daily Success and relatively minor updates to Exercise. I did get notified by YouTube that I have been approved to include links to the website on the video descriptions, so that’s a plus.

Today looks likely for some success as I’ve got Nabila (4 kilometers or about 2.4 miles) and a dinner date with Bill and Paula at Cinco de Mayo (1.6 kilometers or about a mile). That puts the treadmill (or other) in the easy range for the rest of the day. The fly in the ointment is that today is the scheduled day for leg strength exercises that, to get credit on my tracking spreadsheet (shared with you at this link), I must do at least one of the ones that I really seem anxious to avoid if at all possible. Ah, well …
