Daily Success May 24 got to the bottom rung of “Outstanding.” It would have been easy to do a bit better, but the score was there and all I would have been doing was gilding the lily. Plus it was late and I had slipped into a picture selection rabbit hole for my My Camino Day August 5 2021 post. Errors, entirely unnecessary errors, were slipping into my work. When one resulted in the loss of a bit of that work, I knew it was time to go to bed.
Yesterday’s productivity was heavily affected by medical activities as described in my Daily Success May 24 post. All of them went well. Today’s Village volunteer effort is visiting Jim, which will be brought forward to the morning, and an appointment with Larry this afternoon. Tomorrow morning will be dedicated, again, to Elijah with a visit to the nursing home, meeting with the physical therapy staff, and pushing the fact that, no matter how distressing the physical therapy is, doing everything he is told he should do will do far more good for his body that every prayer that can be said. Then Nabila as a Village volunteer and a Zoom conference with a customer in the afternoon will cut even more time away from what I want to be doing.
Ah, well. I’m somewhat back on track.
Today has also involved fixing a video and uploading it to YouTube, then embedding it in the My Camino Day August 4 2021 post. will also include work on that August 5 post, work that will be made far more difficult than it should be by how much I love telling the story of that day. The rabbit holes are deep, indeed.
