Daily Success May 26 was a solid “Outstanding” once again. The key was an after-dinner walk that combined pleasure with adding to my distance for scoring purposes. And a “green” cell on my spreadsheet.
A huge chunk of the day, 7 or 8 hours, was taken up with a trip to Gettysburg to gather information about Elijah’s physical therapy sessions, let the staff know that we are very concerned about him getting all the physical therapy that he can handle effectively, and encourage him in his journey back to being functional. How this will all turn out is anybody’s guess, but he has a steep hill to climb.
An old friend sent us a link to a website one of her family members had created. I looked at it and answered that it is, indeed, impressive. I also asked her to take a look at seniorpilgramage.com. Her extremely positive reaction made me feel REALLY good.
Some good news: a ($40) way has been found to get my texts and photos taken in apps other than the camera from my smartphone to the computer. Finding good software and learning to use it took quite a bit of time, but it will help a ton, starting with the My Camino Day August 5 2021 post. Progress there, but still a lot to do.
Tomorrow is a drive to Selinsgrove for a family Memorial Day bash at my brother Jerry’s house. Should be fun! It will also make a good Daily Success score hard to achieve.
