Daily Success June 19 managed a middle of the range “Okay.” Getting from “just barely” to “middle of the range” involved three minutes on the treadmill to push my distance up by 0.2 kilometers (0.1 miles). That turned an Excel workbook cell from yellow to green and demonstrates just how susceptible I am to tiny rewards.
Part of the reason for the low score was an intentional decision not to push distance hard after the relatively large day Sunday. Part was “putting off” finishing my leg strength exercises, the ones I hate for no reason at all, until it was too late in the day to finish them. Scoring, however, allows me to finish them today to get the green cell. We’ll see …
Yesterday was actually much better than the scoring would indicate because real progress was made on the SurveyorBot effort and a number of chores got done more or less on schedule.
Today will be a challenge because friends are joining us for dinner with “adult beverages” beginning at “5-ish.” There is much to do and I’ve promised my unique deviled eggs as part of the evening. That takes time.
If it was easy, everybody would do it.
