Daily Success September 3 is “Okay.” Yesterday would have squeaked a “Disappointing” had I managed one. September 1st would have been “Okay” had I managed to finish the one I started.
These do not represent good performance. At the same time, I’m still going nuts with a seemingly endless list of “other duties as assigned” for work and around the house.
Today is more of the same, really. I’ve been going pretty strong all day, but extensive emails to help the customer get going on the next contracts have taken a lot of time. An old friend died a few days ago and that has resulted in a lot of email traffic. I’ve done some exercise, but more is needed for a decent score.
The best news, really, is that I was able to do three miles walking yesterday without terrible pain. Leaning forward in a slightly awkward pose seems to keep Sy Attica more or less at bay. In a crazy way, I’m really looking forward to Dr. Sheikh’s magic needle. The shot is far from trivial, it hurts at times and is uncomfortable at best, and it’s more than a little scary having a needle right there next to important nerves.
But the relief is worth it.
On the good news front, being back to being busy and managing to get some exercise has me feeling much cheerier. I don’t know what the future holds, but hospitalero training may well be part of it. Or I might choose to try the Primitivo. Or, perhaps, something a bit less ambitious such as the rest of the way to Finisterre.
