Daily Success November 1 2023
Daily Success November 1 is “Outstanding” by the slimmest of margins. Lots of calories on the bike and a Daily Success post combined to squeak me over the top.
Which is not quite fair, given that I did a lot of “other stuff” including getting videos uploaded to my YouTube channel and some writing for my next “My Camino Day” post. My rhythm for that is coming together, which will require a lot of “go back” effort to clean up almost 100 videos. The videos themselves are fine, but the metadata and brief writeup that is part of them needs some work for better SEO optimization. It will be a bit time-consuming, but not difficult.
Today
Today is a bit busy “outside.” First, Monika at 10 AM with me feeling no sensible progress on my back / left leg. It’s still troublesome and very limiting. I can’t walk a quarter mile comfortably. After that, lunch with Dr. Shannon, president of dear old Tri(ne)-State, my (bachelors) alma mater. I have no idea what the logic is to the attention that Trine has given me over the years. I’m not a big donor, don’t engage in the alumni network (which I assume exists), and am far from the University’s geographic base in northeastern Indiana.
A big goal is to finish my “My Camino Day July 29 2023” post and get it published.
Other than those things, the keys to success today include making time for the bike (a half hour is not enough, an hour is more than needed as I find I work up a good sweat and get to my calorie goal in about 45 minutes). Core Strength and Leg Strength will round out the time in the gym.
The Future
My back is making this very cloudy, indeed. I simply have no idea which way the physical ability winds are blowing, and so I can’t really focus on things.
