Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success January 19 – Failed. This was, for reasons I don’t fully understand, never really close. Monika morning was a minor interference. The cleaning people were a disruption, but not a huge one. The biggest time suck was Sam once again and the seemingly endless process of working to get an agreement in place on my Intellectual Property that is being incorporated into the SurveyorBot Phase I study and was the foundation for the SAGEbot Phase I proposal.

Yesterday

Yesterday was wasted on one last effort to get things documented with Sam so that we can really move forward. I’ve instructed Allen to present it as a “take it or leave it” offer because Allen’s fees are very real while any hoped for profits from the IP are hypothetical; Allen’s fees are immediate, any hoped for profits are years in the future. Enough.

Monika worked on my left leg once again. She’s using some terminology that’s new, apparently a fourth pain source that is the result of compensating for other ones. One simply makes things worse by being tough.

All in all, I put in a long and focused day without feeling any of the satisfaction that comes from producing something. Yeah, I did the contract effort for Sam, but that’s been hashed over so many times that there is no satisfaction.

Today

Today must start early at the blood place (7:30), then Monika at 9, then Jan to her procedure. Getting her home and the aftermath will probably take the entire day, welcome to the second “Failed” day in a row if that happens.

The Future

Too complicated a question to think about at the moment.
