Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success January 22 – Outstanding. By the skin of its teeth, but Outstanding.

Yesterday

A lot of football yesterday made a long session in the gym easy enough. That exercise was the key to my Daily Success score.

Other duties as assigned also took some time. Chores were notable with the humidifiers requiring twice daily servicing because they go through water so quickly. Dishes, laundry, and all that took a back seat.

The biggest item, however, was working on a “choose one” letter to Sam.

Today

The most necessary thing for today is to get the letter to Sam sent. Jan is doing a few edits, but it’s effectively done because I cannot deal with that anymore. Also on the agenda is Tony. We rescheduled from last week, so hopefully I’ll be on my new computer at last later today.

Beyond that, hopefully enough exercise for a decent score, chores of course, and some SurveyorBot contract work.

The Future

I got an email from Monika yesterday suggesting today for getting back to work on my knee and piriformis. Today cannot work, but hopefully we can get something set for the remainder of the week. That said, I despair of the knee. It is not responding to treatment.

The most important thing about the future appears to be for me to truly focus on me. That must drive how I handle Sam, it must remind me each day to look for more social opportunities, and it must be front and center in conversations moderated by Larry. Duty is good, but it, like all things, must have its limits.
