Daily Success February 6 – Outstanding. I was just a hair short of Outstanding, a high “Very Good,” when I checked my score before quitting for the night. Back to the treadmill for 10 more minutes to get the higher score. Then I was a bit more careful than usual with the whiskey to provide just a few points above the Outstanding line.
It may be a silly system, but it works for me.
Yesterday
Yesterday was, again, dominated by the mess Sam has created. At least half the day was wasted on that. It must end, and soon. If Sam does not figure out that he has a lot to gain if he simply agrees to what is fair and a lot to lose if he continues to fight for what is not his, all will be well. That said, he has not gotten the message for a year, and he now has a week. Despite Allen’s belief that a deal can be done, I am now sure that continuing to work on this simply postpones the inevitable.
Today
The one SurveyorBot activity that I continue to support is the UTSA Capstone group. That meeting is at 10:30. It appears at the moment that Dave has simply ignored my request that he give the group a little help, which would be deeply disappointing if it is the case. More likely, I type hopefully, he is just being Dave.
The weekly SurveyorBot meeting takes place at 5. I’ll not attend as that would just take time away from resolving things with Sam.
There is at least one thing, and I think two things, missing from my calendar. One is an HVAC inspection that Jan scheduled, the other is Larry. I’m sure he should be on the calendar this week, but don’t see him. I’ll have to ask Jan about both.
The Future
Tomorrow is the SurveyorBot risk meeting. I will not be attending that and must notify Rey. Tomorrow is also my sciatica injection. Important stuff, that.
I’ve identified at least one of my medications that can produce troublesome side effects, muscle fatigue / discomfort / aches, that I appear to be suffering from and which are affecting my ability to get the exercise I need for training. Jan is going to help with that research.
Other than that, the main things are just standing by waiting for news on the hospitalero training waitlist and Ribadiso.
