Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success March 10 – Outstanding. Back on the bike in a serious way. Some treadmill time, too.

Yesterday

Yesterday was a very slow day, dominated by reworking my Annotated Bibliography for the Poly-Sci class. Content was good, formatting was NOT what they wanted. I’m fixing it, even though my grade is already set.

I did put a lot of time into the rehab exercises from Dr. Higgins’ PT group. That is a LOT of stuff, especially since some of the things are to be done a dozen times a day. Making progress, however.

Today

Today started poorly with a combination of more pain in the shoulder during the night than I’ve had the last day or two. This is likely a combination of the declining prednisone dosage and having pushed the envelope a bit yesterday. My response is to ease off just a bit on how much I push the shoulder and do some icing, which had slipped into disuse after the first few days.

Other than that, today is a repeat of yesterday. We’ll have our traditional pancakes and bacon brunch, but other than that, rehab stuff, exercise, and Poli-Sci will be the story.

The Future

The future continues to look very hopeful, but there is a ton of rehab and Tim coming on board that are key to getting to that desirable outcome. All I can do at this point is keep on keeping on.
