Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success March 22 – Very Good. It was right at the top of “Okay” before a couple points for slightly controlled whiskey, so Very Good turned out to be right.

Yesterday

Yesterday had nothing except Nabila’s mail on my to-do list. I did a lot of taking it easy. My legs felt heavy as hell and that interfered with getting distance on the treadmill and calories on the bike.

Today

Today is hearing at COSTCO, physical therapy at Higgins, and a conference call with Tim and Jon. This does not bode well for scoring, but I’ll work at it as time permits.

Truthfully, I’m just getting tired. Looking back at my scoring, it has been one hell of a two month period for lots of exercise and good scores.

The Future

The future continues to look hopeful.

My shoulder is better this morning than it was yesterday. Progress has been steady. Knock on concrete.

My weight, while not where I want it, continues to trend in the right direction and is near the lowest I’ve been in many years.

On the Sam front, Tim and Jon seem to be very encouraging. We will see what they have to say at our meeting this afternoon.

I need to make decisions on the hospitalero training in Maine and joining the Confraternity of Saint James. Why do I hesitate on them? I don’t know. Perhaps it is the idea of getting my feet on The Way one more time this summer …
