April 2, 2024
Daily Success April 2 – Failed. This was true of the last week as well, but much or most of that was due to having a grandbaby or two and a daughter in residence as part of their spring break(s) and visiting a variety of colleges as well as some DC sightseeing.
Yesterday
Yesterday included a first effort at getting back into my rhythm of stretches and exercise that began shortly after Jennifer and A drove away a bit after 10 AM. A visit with the physical therapy folks at Dr. Higgins’ office (they forced me back from black to green TheraBands for a couple exercises) and an unscheduled nap due to general exhaustion after a very busy week rounded out a day with lots of struggles but no success.
Today
Today should be better. The only thing on the schedule is the Zoom with Laura and her group, which I don’t think is going to happen or continue due to Sam’s “no longer involved” notice. About that, we shall see …
The Future
The future looks blank this morning as I am in total reset mode after more than a week with A in residence. Four days filled with activity including four university tours, three days with physical therapy, cooking a new recipe that requires a lot of effort (modest success, good, but not great), and spending a lot of time chatting with Jennifer were a bit disorienting.
On the bright side, the physical therapist folks have cut me back to two times a week and are allowing at least a little use of meaningful TheraBands and a FOUR POUND weight!
