Daily Success April 26 – Disappointing. I was busy all day doing things that were important. No nap was involved and yet my score did not reflect that.
Yesterday
Yesterday had only Dr. Swistak as a medical appointment plus doing Nabila’s mail as a Village volunteer. Both are time efficient. I did spend some time with laundry, but not enough to create a reason for poor performance. I also spent some time drafting some thoughts on Sam’s latest as agreed during our Teams conference on Wednesday. Again, not significant. Some time with Rosetta Stone rounded out the day. There was no nap.
Despite what seemed like a productive day, I failed to get the amount of exercise – be it calories or stretches or physical therapy – that is central to a decent score. Why this turned out to be so, I do not know.
Today
Today starts with Cliff’s thing at the Brewhouse. The afternoon will take a major time hit with physical therapy at Dr. Higgins’ office. And I’ve got to put my finishing touches on my thoughts for the Sam response.
Those three things combined, however, should not cause a poor score. Exercise, physical therapy, some Spanish.
The Future
The future is always interesting. And unknowable. Tim is busy today, so the “nastygram” will not get worked out until next week. I like my draft material and think its got some good messages in it. Jan and I are still in a holding pattern for getting our trip to France set beyond the Seine cruise.
And, of course, we also have some Ohio activity coming up with Shae Li graduating with her Masters in a few weeks and Jennifer’s health issues.
Finally, there is signing up for a UMGC course … turns out I can’t do it before 2 weeks in advance of the term starting because I’m getting it pretty much for free. Oh, the HUMANITY!
