Daily Success May 18 – Beaten. Life won, the world won, the Second Law won, I lost.
Yesterday
Yesterday was dominated by cardiac issues, mostly arrhythmias. This has been a problem since Thursday at the least and probably since Wednesday; I just don’t have data for Wednesday. Thursday it showed up in pulse rate when I checked my blood pressure.
A full three hours were dedicated to rehabilitation at Dr. Higgins’ office. It was the first real rehab in over a week and my shoulder still hurts. That’s compounded by having sworn off ibuprofen to enable full Xarelto dosage because of the arrhythmias. There was also a lengthy visit with Monika for my piriformis.
Both Monika and Swistak agree that it’s time to look at another approach for the piriformis. I’ve got an appointment pending with Dr. Sheikh’s office and one on Monday with Dr. Higgins. I can function with the arm, but the walking limitation is a show-stopper for future Caminos; I must overcome it.
Today
Today must start with my UMGC Poli-Sci post. Just because the thread of what is called for seems to be eluding me is no reason to not post on time.
Exercise, shoulder rehab, and Poli-Sci seem like the keys to the day.
An examination of this website shows that, while I created a post for yesterday, I didn’t post it. That is on today’s schedule as well.
The Future
Fuzzy the day before yesterday. Fuzzy yesterday. Fuzzy today. The ticker and shoulder continue to be significant issues. Fortunately, my broken rib seems to be resolving itself.
