Daily Success July 29 – Failed. Failed badly, but with no clear cause.
Yesterday
Daily success yesterday should have been straightforward with nothing more than good concentration. Instead, exercise was almost nonexistent, morning stretches didn’t happen, and physical therapy strength exercises were all but zip.
My various injuries did not keep me from the bike. A delightful conversation with #1 Son was not overlong. The “Old Guys” monthly Zoom started at 7 PM on Sunday. That cannot have interfered with a successful day filled with accomplishments.
Some time did get used productively: FCRS got some attention, but not enough; the window track lubricating job got a little attention, but not enough; my el Camino website got no attention beyond a Daily Success post; there are surely other things.
But the result is the result. Failed. And I don’t even know exactly why.
Today
Daily success today is off to a bad start. The day started with a hurried breakfast and an 8:20 appointment with Dr. Sheikh for another injection, this one near my spine. Then a side trip to AAA to get an international driver’s license which may be needed for the rental car in France. Finally, a quick stop for a haircut that was needed sometime between now and when we return from France.
The first draft of the FCRS document must be finished up today.
The Future
Daily success in the future is the same as yesterday: challenging. And with the same plan of action.
