Daily Success September 9 – Okay.
Daily Success Yesterday
I thought this was “Very Good,” but forgot to publish a Daily Success post on September 8th. It was written, but not uploaded and published.
Daily success yesterday was mostly exercise. The football game gave me a good bike session plus plenty of time for stretches and core exercises.
Chores were a significant chunk, but not awesome. What I am now calling Project Pinecone – it’s notional now but has real potential – got some good effort as well.
Camino “stuff” is not getting the attention it needs and deserves. That must be fixed.
Daily Success Today
Daily success today will revolve around a 10:15 appointment with Elaina at Dr. Higgins’ office for one of the acid injections in my left knee. He uses a series of five, one each week, and this is the first. Hopefully that and all the hopeful signs my back is showing – as discussed for my September 7th Daily Success Post – will finally put my physical condition back on the path of “yes, it is possible to return to the Camino as a peregrino.”
A man can dream.
As always, focus is needed. A focus on Project Pinecone. Dedication to seniorpilgrimage.com. Sufficient exercise to have the endurance, strength, and pain level needed to succeed. The three can, and must, coexist.
Daily Success in the Future
Daily success in the future may mean very different things. Today is the first of my five knee injections. Friday, I leave for hospitalero training. Images for Dr. Levine’s use recommending or not recommending surgery are scheduled for Wednesday, September 25th.
So much to do.
