Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success October 25 – Very Good.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was despite having to take an afternoon nap. That nap stemmed directly from a poor night’s sleep Wednesday / Thursday night. This is worrisome because last night’s sleep was less than desirable although the cause was different: the phantom pain in my right shoulder seems to be returning.

That wasn’t all. Microsoft Excel has been hanging up on my computer and the system wanted an update. That led to a lot of late evening “computer fiddling” that may or may not have fixed the problems. But at least an hour was lost to an extremely frustrating process. For the cost of this stuff, it should work and, when it doesn’t, it should be easy to fix.

Exercise was the driver for success as a modest bike number got added to the 3.9 kilometers (2.5) miles that the “long way” to doing Nabila’s mail contributed.

Plus, a lot got done on Project Pinecone.

Success Today

Success today will begin with a telephone conference with Jason to discuss accounting for Project Pinecone. That’s a glancing conflict with Cliff’s thing at the Empress so I’ll skip that. The time can be productive instead of social.

And productive time is critical. My attention must be focused on the things that are important: el Camino and my commitment to San Martín; Project Pinecone; family.

Success in the Future

Success in the future really isn’t varying at all. It’s the same as written for the 23rd: it’s up to me and time for me to step up to achieve it. “Do. Or do not. There is no try.
