Daily Success October 28 – Outstanding.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday came in as an out of the park Outstanding, but that was definitely deceptive and based almost entirely on exercise, most of which was during the Washington Commanders football game. No Spanish. No Project Pinecone; well, just a little, but not as much as it should have been. On the bright side, not working on the combined WBS, grand schedule, and WBS Dictionary has led to thinking about it and progress should happen today.

But Outstanding is more than fair. I don’t stretch the score a few points to improve my rating on any given day; this particular day, the scoring was more than clear. It was not a “just barely” score.

There were, of course, some specific issues that made things a bit harder: our Sunday Morning routine, including brunch, is a slow start to the day.

Despite what I thought was a good night’s sleep, a nap became necessary in early afternoon. At 7PM, we convened the “Old Guys Monthly Zoom,” so nothing further was possible other than the joy that comes with seeing such old friends once again.

Success Today

Success today must be worked around an appointment with Dr. Swistak at 10:15. Other than that, it’s focus, focus, focus. Project Pinecone MUST move today. Exercise can wait for Monday Night Football. YouTube and My Camino Day must wait.

Success in the Future

Success in the future is clearly about making sure I’m ready for San Martín and moving Project Pinecone along. Other Camino efforts must take a back seat for now even though I really don’t like it. “For I have promises to keep, And miles to go before I sleep.”
