Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success November 21 – Outstanding.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was across the board: Spanish, exercise, stretches, and Project Pinecone all got their share of effort and progress. The bike, which got a “last little bit” when it became clear that my score was on the edge of Outstanding, was a big part of that.

One particular pleasure was an hour spent in a Confraternity of Saint James virtual albergue. That was special for a couple reasons, not the least of which was that I got to meet Priscilla in (virtual) person and chat just a bit about the San Martín training session on February 21. It would be best for me to be there in person, but the travel so close to my fortnight commitment is probably going to be very difficult. Jet lag is a killer.

Success Today

Success today is to keep going as I managed to do yesterday. Nabila’s mail is on my task list, so that should add at least a couple kilometers of walking to my exercise total. The bike, stretches, and all that remain, however. Thursday Night Football will help a bit if my energy allows at that time of the evening.

Success in the Future

Success in the future includes adapting to house guests for the weekend. Nephew Jon and his wife Michelle will be with us as they are planning to go to the Commanders’ football game versus the Cowboys on Sunday. They are Cowboys fans. Sigh. And such wonderful family members otherwise!

The coming days demand a real effort across the board with exercise and Spanish to get ready for San Martín (seeing Priscilla in person was a wonderful reminder of that promise), stretches to keep the pain at a tolerable level, and lots of Project Pinecone because that is what is needed to make it successful. Win-win, so to speak.

Now if my energy level will just cooperate …
