Daily Success: December 23 was just a disaster. Nothing good about it except that I feel much better today and am ready to “get on with it.”

Feeling better is the foundation for today’s plans. I’m going to finish my stretches (even my stretches got skipped yesterday, and without any real justification, something that’s not unprecedented, but is quite unusual), finish getting dressed, and head out to do Nabila’s mail. That’s 2.4 miles if weather and path conditions don’t make a more direct route necessary. Then there will be work for the customer, my product will not be complete by the weekend as promised, and some pleasurable work on the Camino website.

The weekend is LOADED with holiday activities: a family Christmas with the Tabor side of the family on Saturday, which includes small kids and all the excitement they feel this time of year; and an afternoon with our wonderful friends Bill and Paula on Christmas day. There will be little time for work, even on the Camino website, until Monday.

In the “good news” department, I’m now only two days short of seven (7!) full weeks of controlling my Internet usage: zero news, zero George Conway, zero ndnation. A couple weeks ago, Santa Barney68 (my ndnation handle, I’d post a link, but that would violate the “zero” as I’d need to log on …) promised me that, if I completed seven (7!) weeks of total abstinence, I could return to ndnation on an “as long as it’s under control” basis. I cannot wait to unwrap that gift (Thanks, Pixabay) on Christmas morning!
