Daily Success: January 5 – Yesterday was a hard day because of huge personal stress. The walking and editing the Camino website posts did a lot to help, but it was a hard day, nonetheless.

A need for comfort led to my worst performance for avoiding social media, ndnation, since my cold turkey stepping away just before the election. I managed to continue a “no posting” stretch but reading other folks posts and seeing familiar handles helped me get through the day. Another slip was checking in on progress electing the Speaker of the House.

Today, the distractions will continue. The personal issues will take a long time to work out and I’ll not mention them here again. The professional stuff includes a lengthy Zoom conference this afternoon, but things are back burner other than that. Volunteerism includes Nabila’s mail, which has the plus side of a nice walk.

Today, the goal will be to do at least one good “Day on the Camino” post and get the remainder of the corrections done to old stuff. That’s a long way from trivial but it’s also short of what I should really be attempting.
