Daily Success April 1 includes some very bright spots indeed. The first of these is that both knees were well behaved yesterday. Dr. Higgins’ two shots appear to be working. Ice regularly applied to the right one, which Higgins says is swollen, also appears to be helping.
Exercise met standards. The short distance is compensated by being entirely on the treadmill at 7% grade. The true “strength” part of my upper body work and my core strength exercises both got done. This was the sixth day in a row with acceptable, if not really good, distance and the fifth with proper, even extra, strength work.
On the other hand, the Internet time suck of ndnation, a couple Twitter accounts, news sites, and the ex-president’s indictment lured me into wasting far too much time.
Another factor slowing things a bit is that we have company coming for a two night stay, Sunday and Monday, and other company coming for one night, Monday. The house will be full, but everyone knows each other and we have plenty of room, or will have plenty of room when the excavation is complete!
Finally, progress is being made on the website, albeit far too slowly. I’ve now gotten to a point where the story of August 18, 2018 should shift to a narrated PowerPoint and the slide deck is built. All I have to do is record the narration. Hopefully that will happen tomorrow.
