Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statueDaily Success April 21 scores as “Very Good” using my new, and hopefully properly reproducible, scoring criteria. My walking was the same as on the 19th, so that was ok. I did almost the full set of leg strength exercises, including the three I hate. I also did my shoulder PT stuff. All good.

But the stronger part, and that which will be hard to replicate, was getting both a Daily Success post and a My Camino Day post (August 18, 2018, FINALLY) finished off.

The formalized system also gives points for staying off the time-suck Internet sites. Some interaction, ok, too much and “no points for YOU.” I got no points for yesterday, but today that discipline will take hold; in fact it already has.

But the day will be a challenge.

First, I have to drive to Olney for Dr. Higgins to do injection five of five in both knees. That will take some time, but the results are totally worth it. It will also hurt a little, but the results are still totally worth it. I’ve been walking with very little knee pain for the last two weeks. I’ve become a fan of Sports Medicine doctors as they seem to have a different view of how to take care of me and that view aligns with my desires.

After my Higgins appointment, it will be off to Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to visit my brother-in-law Elijah, who is in WellSpan’s Inpatient Rehab Unit with what looks to be a stay of a month or so.

Between those two activities, I’ll have, perhaps, four hours less to get things done today. Thus, there is to be no lingering over the paper, or this post, this morning.
