Daily Success April 23 – Okay. Getting to Okay was a struggle, but worth it.
Yesterday
Yesterday was hard in that passive way that a lack of urgency brings with it. My body wanted a nap most of the day and got one to finish off the morning. I’m going to work at learning how to manage important tasks such as doing some Rosetta Stone Spanish without having a specific time the results are due.
I did visit Swistak for an adjustment, which did not seem particularly effective.
Today
Today is much as yesterday. I’m on my own for getting everything done without a schedule for doing it. Exercise. Physical Therapy. Spanish. Work on the website! YouTube videos!!!! There is also a walk to Giant to pick up a prescription. That is high on the to-do list.
The good news is that we have a planning session – Tim, Jon, Allen, and I – at 3 PM Eastern today.
The Future
The future depends, to a very significant extent, on what Tim, Jon, Allen, and I conclude on the Teams meeting. I must focus on it as a business decision rather that the very personal feelings that result from Sam’s concerted efforts to steal my intellectual property.
Beyond that, there are two major factors.
One is my physical therapy as some of the new “exercises” seem focused on someone who, while they may be where I am for post-surgery schedule, is far, FAR behind me as far as physical condition is concerned. Some of the new ones seem like a waste of time.
The second is planning our trip to France in August. We must get the first week or so reserved soon as we will be in competition with the Paris Olympics. That’s not a good situation and due, entirely, to me not paying attention to the schedule.
A minor factor for the schedule: I want to sign up for another Poli-Sci course. Now that I’ve got the formatting understood, things should be far easier.
