Daily Success April 25 scored Outstanding, but barely so. It required a bit of thinking on exactly what the new system says is the answer. Why? Because I did a lot of work that will show up on the Camino website but did not get anything new posted.
Staying away from the Internet time-suck sites was the key. I know it is, but my mouse-finger twitches constantly.
Dr. Sheikh did his uncomfortable thing to my back yesterday. I’m going to admit that it takes more than a little exercise of will to lie there while he and his Physicians Assistant do their thing. It is worrisome that he is fiddling around with nerves in my spine. It is also painful in a dull, pressure sort of way. But WOW! Getting the left side done along with the right seems to have made an incredible difference in my lower back. The stiffness and pain appears to be (knock on concrete) gone.
I also had a wonderful walk and talk with Ty. We’ve not had a chance to visit in many months and seeing him was a joy. I also learned that Jan had been aware that Brenn transferred to the University of Texas at Austin last year, wanting a “campus experience” not available in New York City. I also learned that she will be finishing her degree at Oregon next year, virtually, by transferring all of her credits. It is a strange new world for me.
Today is busy. Mario is going to come over to see the handyman work at noon. I’m supposed to see Jim at two, but we have an appointment with Larry for that time, so Jim will have to be rescheduled unless Jan wants to chat with Larry on her own. She had mentioned some “one-on-one” sessions a week or four ago, but I don’t think she has that in mind for herself or for today.
