April 3, 2024
Daily Success April 3 – Outstanding. It was well over the line, too, as a quick look at the score late in the day said, “go back to the bike for three minutes” and I did. Then the whiskey was under control as well.
Yesterday
Yesterday was really very good overall. I’ve been in kind of a funk since learning about the surgery and have been letting things go as a result. Yesterday was a bit of a breakout on “everything else” and will hopefully be the beginning of a lot of success across the board.
I believe we finalized everything with Dykema as well by getting the money transferred to seal the deal. That required some follow up as things had not executed as expected with the funds transfer.
Today
Today begins a sprint to the finish for my UMGC Poly-Sci course. Two essays due a week from yesterday, one of which is a big chunk of my overall grade. Add in continued cleanup of the mess from the last month plus, and some poor practices that long preceded that month, and there is lots to do.
The key is to do it.
The Future
The future depends on me getting my act together. Today is decision day for stuff, including hospitalero training, the Confraternity of Saint James, and beginning the process of dumping paper I’ll never use. None of that will be easy.
Importantly, Tim is now on the job officially. Either today or tomorrow, I should probably send an email to him and Allen to strategize on how Allen presents things on Monday, assuming that Allen is tasked with doing that. That step is almost a declaration of war. We will see how Sam and his group responds.
