Daily Success August 30 is “Disappointing,” which is surprisingly good. I barely made the bottom rung, and that included credit for questionable success keeping away from Internet time-suck sites plus distance injury for my sciatica.
Still …
Very much on the bright side, I’ve asserted myself a bit with my current customer and hope that doing so will reduce the amount of unnecessary confusion generated by his unwillingness to either plan or follow someone else’s plan. He would not commit to a kickoff date for the next contract, even though it was possibly next week. I put my foot down, made an appointment for Dr. Sheikh‘s magic needle for next Wednesday, and informed him that next week was no longer possible for the kickoff. If I can stick to this approach, the next year will be a lot more tolerable and I’ll be far more able to score decent success rankings each day.
In the meantime, getting more than the minimum is pretty difficult, but at least I’m on my way toward whatever that next goal is now that the Cathedral in Santiago is in the past rather than some future goal.
