A change in system, or at least in the way the title is done. This daily blog post is not about weight or distance, or activities, it is about my success fighting the weight monster (this morning’s weight) and the inactivity daemon (yesterday’s distance walked); it is about my ability to manage my time to achieve satisfactory progress toward my two Camino goals of creating and maintaining an attractive website for seniors interested in the Camino and of returning to Cadavedo to renew my pilgrimage in July of 2023.
If not now, when shall I do these things?
So, how did I do yesterday? My distance was good, especially since 2.7 of the miles were on the treadmill at 5% so they included a good climb, and that supports getting back on the Camino itself. My progress on the website was very good with improved understanding of the process plus good content creation. My weight is basically unchanged, it goes up or down a pound from about 164 lb (74.4 kg) and has been stable at that general range for months. My goal of dropping below 160 lb (72.6 kg) remains elusive.
My next step is to review the 9 videos I shot on August 25th to see how they would fit into a nice post about that day. That will take some time. Unfortunately, there is competition for that time from the customer, where too much remains to be done for the hours available, and in preparation for Friday (“Solstice” party with a different customer) and Saturday (family and friends Holiday Party here at home). That means a lot of cleaning up, cooking, and driving added to the usual stuff. And all that will make success on the exercise front all the more difficult.
