Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Yesterday

Daily Success December 4 is “Outstanding” with Yesterday’s Distance = Not Applicable. My exercise numbers simply pushed me well past the minimums without any question. That was both strength and bike distance with the bike pushing to an excellent result.

There was my continuing effort to get the SEO score on the landing page above 80, no joy. I did little on the website elsewhere. There was also a bit on the Library. And chores. All in all, a good day.

Today

Today starts (at 10:15) with Monika. We must have a heart-to-heart on where this is going because a half mile walk yesterday was bad. It had me doubled over getting home. I don’t know what the right answer is, but this is not working. It is somewhere between not working at all and working so slowly as to be not working at all.

Beyond that, I must do some SurveyorBot work, a little SAGEbot, some on my Library, some chores, and exercise. The exercise will be the hard part. My back was bothersome all night. It was bothersome even after an 800 mg ibuprofen.

Fuzzy. See “heart-to-heart” with Monika.

I got a note from American Pilgrims. They confirmed that (1) at least one of the albergues I mentioned would qualify; and (2) I’m waitlisted for hospitalero training. My email mentioned fewer than I put in my application. My application didn’t include at least two more that seem to fit. Identifying them would require work on my part.

The hospitalero training thing is frustrating. My back is frustrating. Fantasies of repeating my moment on that clifftop have become “faded photographs, covered now with lines and creases.”
