Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Yesterday

Daily Success December 6 is “Failed” with Yesterday’s Distance = Not Applicable. The problem is, or was, that there are days when life simply interferes. Success, while possible, was not practical because there are too many things coming up. Jennifer, A, and Cooper will be arriving for a visit on Friday. We are throwing a largeish party (about 25 folks) on Saturday. The house is not ready and the Library, where some will sleep, is in total disarray.

Therefore, things that have been put off for (?) months simply have to be addressed. Getting my Library straightened out is mandatory. Doing that is VERY time consuming because of years of neglect.

Thus, while I failed in my Camino promise to myself, it was only because family (and events involving family) always come first.

Could I have made a claim for “Disappointing” based on my work on the landing page? Maybe, but it would have been a stretch. Importantly, its only value would be to make my failure a bit less obvious.

Today

Today holds the same challenges. The Library still requires hours of work. SurveyorBot promises must be kept. The Christmas letter is not even started. Most of the photos from the last year have not been downloaded so that I can choose the ones for the letter.

The Future

I’m operating following (mostly) Monika’s instructions about stretches and exercises. That makes things a little confusing for some stuff and contributed to the terrible score yesterday.

The initial response seems hopeful, however. The tingling seems less. The pain seems less. My fingers are crossed all the way to my armpits.
