Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success February 18 – Okay.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was better than anticipated. The reasons were simple: Project Pinecone, which does not count on my scoresheet, was the item that got less than its due; exercise was much helped by walking about 3.3 kilometers (2.05 miles) at the protest yesterday. I also managed to get through a Spanish lesson (Unit 18, Lesson 1 for Rosetta Stone aficionados), but that was only because it’s a relatively easy lesson and I was stubborn in my obsession to get through it.

Success Today

Success today is, as usual, focus. Project Pinecone needs solid attention. Exercise and stretches are always critical. Leaving for Spain is only 5.5 weeks away and leaving San Martín for Barcelona to meet up with Mae Ling is just two months in the future!

Much to do, no time for fiddle-faddle.

Success in the Future

Success in the future is complicated. Family comes first and Jennifer and Eric arrive for a three-day visit tomorrow afternoon. That’s success in itself but doesn’t show up on the score sheet. There is lots to do for Spain, not the least of which is beginning to plan the time in Barcelona. That should include reaching out to Salvador! A lunch with him and Tonia would be a joy, especially if it includes introducing Mae Ling to them.

And, Project Pinecone. Always Project Pinecone. Such a huge undertaking, so little time.
