Daily Success February 19 – Failed.
Daily Success Yesterday
Success yesterday was a failure due to lack of discipline. It was, quite simply, the Internet Monster that stood between me and a passing score. Too much time wasted on ndnation.
Other than the Internet Monster, things were not particularly good. Fatigue was a part of it, a hangover from the time in the cold on Monday is my best guess. My brain was simply in rebellion over the assignment for the day. It got done, but only with enormous difficulty.
Success Today
Success today must emphasize the early hours as Jennifer and Eric will be here by mid-afternoon. From then until sometime Saturday will be dedicated to family. Family is the most important part of things.
So, today will be successful but my score will indicate failure. The measurement system meets its match. So it goes.
Success in the Future
Success in the future had been looking very cheery and, really, still does. Today’s disappointment was from Southwest Research Institute as we had hoped to have a Project Pinecone conversation with them. They informed us yesterday that they are not interested until we get a bit further along. That, combined with Stefan apparently ghosting me, is dispiriting.
On the other hand, Antonios Kontsos at Rowan University is very interested. Jason Kroh at Strados appears to be as well. Conversations are planned. The draft of the first of my “this is why, this is how” research writeups is all but finished. That would fit with both Strados and Rowan.
The future is bright, the challenges are just a bit on the difficult side.
