Daily Success for an elderly peregrino is symbolized by this statue

Daily Success February 20 – Okay. It’s an Okay that includes some injury points, but they’re fairly used as I was wearing a thing on my shoulder all day to help hold it in place and, especially, remind me not to move it. Even sitting on the bike was uncomfortable because of the position, the movement, or both.

Yesterday

Yesterday was very quiet, Presidents’ Day, so no mail or business stuff. No word from Sam, but the assumption is that the quiet was due to the holiday. I’ve got deep doubts about his intentions. He’s lost all of the respect and good will I had.

I spent most of the day doing Poli-Sci. Getting well ahead of the class seems easy enough and the reading is very interesting. Writing assignments with minimum word counts of 250 words is all but trivial. If it was 250 maximum, that would be hard.

My Spanish seems to be getting ever so slightly better as well. I missed doing a lesson yesterday but have plenty of time today for more than one.

Today

Today, we show Sam the hammer if he continues to work to avoid paying me for the value I’ve created.

Other than that, it’s exercise, Spanish, and Poli-Sci. And my weekly chat with the UTSA Capstone project group.

I also have an appointment with Monika this afternoon.

The Future

Vague. My shoulder is now added to my knee added to my back added to my leg in terms of physical barriers to hiking this summer.
In the shorter term, the Gathering is only two weeks away.
