Daily Success February 3 – Outstanding.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was the result of me being cold and using the stationary bike to warm up. My score was clearly over the line into Outstanding territory, but it really wasn’t as good as on February 2 because my performance did not include the proper amount of other exercises as well.

Success Today

Success today is different than expected as my appointment with Dr. Swistak has been cancelled. That simplifies things.

Also simplifying things is that the Project Pinecone Finance Plan draft is almost done. Moving that to Janis’ desk will free me to move on the next task. That will almost certainly be a first cut at a schedule that reflects the “new normal” of funding being at least a year away.

Success in the Future

Success in the future certainly looks different today as the realities of how much we have to do sink in. That’s both good, we are not going to be working as close to 24/7 as possible, and bad as we will have to figure out how to make that reality work. Ah, well.

In the shorter term, not having to work like a workaholic means that there is more time for the important things tied to family and el Camino. This is excellent and means, among other things, that there will be time to enjoy Barcelona with Mae Ling in April.
