Daily Success February 4 – Outstanding.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was enabled by my repeatedly feeling chilled combined with stepping away from Project Pinecone after dinner. That let me get a good, not great, Spanish session in and cover a few stretches and shoulder exercises. It was a reasonable balance.

Success Today

Success today will be a bit of a challenge.

There are multiple interruptions including an hour presentation on using ammonia as a fuel for terrestrial vehicles, a Teams meeting with Meera Towler of Southwest Research Institute to introduce the GoRSS idea, Larry, and dinner with Joe Kujawski downtown to chat about involving Brandywine in the small business research efforts we’re putting together to support Project Pinecone.

Stretches and exercise will have to fit in there somewhere. Spanish looks unlikely.

Success in the Future

Success in the future is further than I would wish as far as Project Pinecone is concerned. That said, the course remains clear: focus on the goal with the small business topics steps along the way.

On the other hand, not having the short schedule driving my thinking means more time for doing important things. My service at San Martín ends about noon on April 16. It’s likely that Mae Ling and I will meet in Barcelona in the afternoon / evening of the 18th. That leaves two days and change with nothing to do.
Fantasies of two days spent hiking el Camino dance through what is left of my brain. How to handle the extra luggage that I’ll have for what will now be a four-week trip? Camino con correos? My left knee. Higgins’ office says no more shots until the insurance allows. These are not particularly realistic thoughts …
