Daily Success February 5 – Very Good.
Daily Success Yesterday
Success yesterday could have been scored as “Outstanding” using the theory that getting to the line is all that’s required. My score got exactly to the line, so all was good.
Except it wasn’t. Project Pinecone got lots of attention, which included dinner with Joe Kujawski to discuss the electronics, a discussion that slipped over to Texas A&M and the Army as well because of his office’s location. Good stuff.
But there was no real effort on the Camino, no Spanish, no exercise beyond staying warm or walking from the Metro to the restaurant. No strength work, no stretches, no balance routines.
The success was not Outstanding and scoring it that way would have missed the intent of the system.
Success Today
Success today includes our Technical Zoom at 10, Dr. Swistak at 1, and a visit from Senate to check for mice and squirrels. I don’t think we have mice or squirrels, but the inspection is free.
The problem, of course, is that all those things take up time and make the rest of Daily Success a bit more difficult. Thus, it is very important to get some Camino, stretches, exercises, and stationary bike time in along with the engineering work for Project Pinecone.
Success in the Future
Success in the future looks both promising, I have a Teams conference with Tim and Jon to chat about patents, and interesting, the portion of The Way that begins in Barcelona begins in the center of the city. It looks like there will be 2+ days for me to be on my own between the end of my service at San Martín and meeting up with Mae Ling.
Twenty kilometers or so? No risk there as Uber and other transit are readily available. No steep grades to overcome, there is a blank Camino passport sitting in the safe …
