Happy New Year!
Daily Success January 1 – Very Good.
Daily Success Yesterday
Success yesterday was, again, good across the board except for a poor effort on Project Pinecone. This is unfortunate but was necessary because of catching up on lots of chores that have not been getting their full effort of late. Exercise was very good because I found myself chilled repeatedly and followed my rule of “if you’re cold, go to the stationary bike and warm up.”
Success Today
Success today will be “Not Applicable” because of the holiday. We will be journeying to my brother Jerry’s home in central Pennsylvania, at least five hours round trip, for a New Year’s Day family feast. This will let us spend time with loved ones we see all to infrequently, starting with Jerry and his wife, Anna.
There will be little time for “everything else,” and especially for work on Project Pinecone or Spanish. Exercise might get done after we get home IF my body has the strength to watch the Notre Dame game tonight from my usual perch atop the stationary bike. The IF factor is due to eight hours of driving and socializing beforehand.
We shall see.
Success in the Future
Success in the future looks very bright, indeed. While Project Pinecone is lagging a bit after the holidays, my communications with Priscilla and Piers about San Martín have been very reassuring. Add to that the invitation to use Julian and Mercedes’ home outside Madrid as a waypoint along my journey to and fro, and things are excellent indeed. I’m already looking forward to seeing the two of them again.
‘Tis only the morning of January 1, 2025, but the New Year does seem bright.
