Daily Success January 10 – Failed. I didn’t even bother to look at the scoring as I left for South Dakota on Saturday and got home late yesterday afternoon. While I did manage a little exercise, the time with John and Thad was precious and was the total focus.
Plus, of course, sitting in cars / vans / airplane seats and watching the world pass by.
Yesterday
Yesterday was the flight home. ‘Nuff said.
I did manage to attend the SurveyorBot weekly status meeting and get a lot of emails done.
I ended the day totally exhausted after two consecutive nights with poor sleep, one in Deadwood and one near the Rapid City airport. That said, I give the Four Points in Deadwood high grades despite not caring for the rather severe modernist décor. The room was spacious and well laid out. The exercise room is excellent.
Today
Today will not be much better as most of it is bespoke with knee injections, physical therapy, and vetting a new pest control company. There will be little more accomplished.
Adding pain to difficulty, I think I passed a kidney stone in the early hours this morning. Plenty of symptoms, but not quite as much pain nor as long a duration as my first one.
The Future
Today was the fifth of five knee injections. We’ll see how the knee does. The sciatica seems less, but not gone. We’ll see. Monika seems to be making progress on the piriformis. Ditto. Larry is next Tuesday. I must force myself to make that session about my good years.
