Daily Success January 11 – Failed.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday consisted of interruptions, a lack of discipline, some chores, and an inability to walk the way I’d like. The Internet Monster had its way with me, especially Notre Dame folks and reviews of the game. Walking exhausted me after only 5+ kilometers (3.28 miles). The evening was lost to exhaustion.

The level of exhaustion after only 5 kilometers was frightening. That’s 1/3 of a day on el Camino and I was totally spent. Maybe age is catching up with me.

Success Today

Success today requires doing better than yesterday. Project Pinecone, exercise and stretches, and keeping the Internet Monster at bay. Some chores. The NFL playoffs will help with distraction from the fact that I’m exercising, but they don’t start until late afternoon.

Focus.

Success in the future is straightforward, but difficult. Focus. Exercise, Spanish, and airline tickets for San Martín. Project Pinecone. Some time dedicated to family activities. It would all be easier if there were 30 hours in the day or I didn’t need to sleep …
