Daily Success January 14 – Failed.

Daily Success Yesterday

Success yesterday was an almost total failure. It became clear that my work on some of the Project Pinecone documents, especially the Concept of Operations, was deeply flawed, more deeply than I ever suspected despite clear inputs from Jay and Lise. They were working to tell me what was wrong, I was too deep into things to hear them.

My bad.

The result was for me to get totally wrapped around the Project Pinecone axel, accomplish little there, and fail to get anything else done in the process. I did not keep my promise to me.

Success Today

Success today will be a challenge because my poker group plays tonight. That eliminates any possibility of working late. We play at my house, which means that time must be set aside for setting things up, getting some fresh fruit, and all that. Less time will be available during the day for me to keep my promise to myself.
My focus MUST be on the steps to overall success.

Success in the Future

Success in the future remains the same: focus on what’s important. That means exercise. That means stretches. That means practicing my Spanish. That means being productive on Project Pinecone: strategy and big stuff rather than nits as Jay and Lise have been working to explain to me..

That means getting tickets for San Martín!

It will be hard, but we don’t do these things because they are easy. We do things that are hard and things that are important. All these things meet both requirements. We DO these things!
