Daily Success January 19 – Outstanding.
Daily Success Yesterday
Success yesterday rode on the stationary bike. Lots of football to watch and lots of exercise. My Spanish efforts, Rosetta Stone practice, went well. Project Pinecone did not want for progress.
A truly solid day with an excellent football game, the Commanders triumphed over the Lions, until quite late.
There was one major tug upon my heart. Daughter Jennifer sent a photo of granddaughter Mae Ling. The fun little girl I used to chase around the house with screams and laughter the result has changed, somehow, into a confident young woman. She was at the airport to board the airplane that took her successfully to France. There she will spend the next few months as a student in Montpellier rather than Gambier, Ohio.
How the “H-E double hockey sticks” did that happen? And why can’t I find a YouTube clip of Radar saying it.
Success Today
Success today has the advantage of some good football at good times. That will lead to more time on the bike. Focus on Spanish, Project Pinecone, and doing the full set of stretches and exercises rather than just plunking my butt on the bike will be important.
Success in the Future
Success in the future rides on focus. And learning. Spanish, of course, but it’s clear that my lack of effort to understand the physics and terminology involved in the GoVentures Remote Sensing System (GoRSS) is catching up with me. It is necessary to get some of the terminology and physics right as the Concept of Operations and first development test plan come together.
It is a major challenge.
